Overview:
Freedom Jasmine is looking for a skilled trainer to lead legal awareness sessions for women in Azaz, Syria. The sessions will empower women by providing knowledge of their legal rights and access to legal assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver legal awareness sessions.
– Use interactive methods to engage participants.
– Tailor content to meet the needs of women in Azaz.
– Evaluate the effectiveness of sessions and collect feedback.
– Provide detailed reports on the progress of sessions.
Qualifications:
– Degree in law, human rights, social sciences or a related field.
– 2-4 years of experience in legal education or training, with a focus on women’s rights and conflict zones.
– Proven ability to deliver engaging training sessions using participatory methods.
– Understanding of the cultural and legal challenges facing women in conflict-affected areas, particularly in Syria.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Proficiency in Arabic is required; proficiency in English is an added advantage.
– Ability to adapt training content to suit specific needs and local context.
